Sonnys Achievements

Sonny has only had a limited show career due to work commitments so his 16 Class in Groups, 9 Class in Shows, 5 Runner up in Group and 3 Consolation to Best in Show awards with countless numbers of Best of Breed awards have indeed made us very proud.

Reserve Challenge and Puppy of the day at the 1999 Sydney Royal Easter Show at only 10 months of age. During that same show, he became a true ambassador for the breed being one of only 2 Akitas selected to attend the Breed Stall Day. This is a day set aside from the show to inform the public about the various breeds of dogs. Sonny was on display all day for the General Public to pat, cuddle and pose for photos. Thousands of people passed through the pavilion that day. In true Sonny fashion he took it all in his stride loving every minute of it.
